Our current topic is ‘Stories and Fairytales’

We are going to be looking a range of traditional fairytales as well as some modern favourites. These will include Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Little Red Hen and many more!

We can't wait to find out about the children's favourite stories and to make up some of our own too.

We will continue to access the outdoor area as a part of our free flow learning – please ensure your child has a warm coat and wellies, so they are prepared for going out in any weather.

Class information

PE - Our PE days alternate between Mondays and Thursdays, but please ensure your child's PE kit is in school every day in case we have an extra chance to do PE.

Home Reading – Our fantastic volunteer Mrs Scrivens will change your child’s home reading book on a TUESDAY. Please read at home with your child as often as possible and make a note in their reading record. Please send your book bag to school every day. Children each have a Bugclub account set up which they should also access regularly to help support their learning.

Home Learning – Home-learning is always linked to the learning we have done that week. It is given out every Wednesday in homework books. It must be returned by the following Monday so that it can be marked and sent back to you.

Uniform Please make sure your child’s uniform, PE kit and coat is clearly labelled. Jewellery is not allowed in school except for simple stud earrings
