IPC

Our IPC topic for this term is called ‘Roman Rule.’ Using primary and secondary sources of information, we will learn about whom the Romans were and where they came from as well as identifying features of Roman entertainment, Roman gladiators, the Roman Army and the main Emperors of Rome. By the end of the topic, we will understand the factors that led to the fall of the Roman Empire, identified how the Romans have influenced our lives today, have investigated the significance of Mosaic Art in Roman times and to experiment with this technique and have explored the impact of Roman beliefs in relation to Roman Gods.

Class information

PE - Our PE days are Thursday and every other Tuesday, but please have your PE kit in school every day in case we have an extra chance to do PE.

Home Reading – Reading books need to be returned on a Monday. However books can be taken home every day but need to be back in school every day in case we have a reading volunteer in school. Please read at home with your child as often as possible and make a note in their planner. Please send your book bag to school every day.

Home Learning – Home-learning is always linked to the learning we have done that week. It is given out every Wednesday in homework books. It must be returned by the following Monday so that it can be checked and sent back to you.
