We are currently operating as an emergency care facility for children of key workers (e.g. NHS staff, police, others in frontline services) and children with certain needs. The Government have advised that children stay at home where possible and only use this service when there is no alternative provision for the children.

Story Wood School Sowing the seeds of success

Hope everyone is keeping well and safe. From April 20th, we will be setting tasks every Monday that can be completed over the course of the week from home.

It is lovely to see what you are getting up to at home so please do send photographs on Class Dojo.

Some activities that you can do every week with your child:

Reading stories

Singing nursery rhymes

Practising getting dressed independently

Recognising numerals

Writing their name (forming letters correctly)

Giving meaning to mark making (talking about what they have drawn)

If you do need anything during this time or have any questions, please feel free to message me on Dojo and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Take care,

Mrs Matthiesen and Mrs Bi
