Choir

 

As part of developing music at Story Wood, and providing our children with fantastic opportunities, we are thrilled to have a choir for children in Lower Key Stage 2. 

 

Thanks to Mrs Usher and Miss Tuckey the children have had lots of fun so far learning songs for our Christmas Fair and have worked hard preparing for Young Voices. 

 

The Young Voices concert in February 2024 was a huge success where the choir did us proud - singing beautifully and behaving exceptionally on what was a very long day indeed. The school, and all the parents who were able to attend the concert, were very proud of our children and hope to repeat this performance in 2025!

We hope to develop on the success of this concert; seeking more opportunities for our choir to perform and to widen participation so that more children can enjoy singing at Story Wood.
