School Meals from September 2024

The price of a school meal will remain at £2.60 a day or £13.00 per week for children in Year 3 to Year 6. Payment must be made on Parent Pay in advance.

Our dedicated catering staff will endeavour to make sure all children have a selection of meals to choose from on a daily basis.  However, we would like to encourage you to discuss with your child the menu so they have an idea of what they would like to eat when they are served. The menu is published every Friday in our weekly newsletter.

Under the Government 'Free School Meal' scheme children in Reception to Year 2 will have free school meals. 
 

If you think your child is eligible for free school meals please enquire at the school office as the school gets Pupil Premium money for every child who takes a free school meal.

If you are a parent or carer and receive any of the benefits below then you child is eligible for Free School Meals.

• Income Support
• Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
• Support under part VI of the immigration and Asylum Act 1999
• Child Tax Credits - provided you are not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross household of no more than £16,190.
• The Guaranteed Element of State Pension Credit
• Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
• Working Tax Credit run on - 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
