School Led Tutoring at Story Wood
The National Tutoring Programme (NTP) provides primary and secondary schools with funding to spend on targeted academic support, delivered by trained and experienced tutors and mentors. Although initially this funding is based on the number of Pupil Premium pupils, we use data to determine which pupils would benefit and then take into consideration that at least 50% of pupils in each group are Pupil Premium (inline with our PP policy). Progress of pupils is tracked to ensure we are closing the learning gaps.
At Story wood we have trained members of staff who deliver this additional targeting to our pupils. We use the "Learning By Questions" platform as our main resource when delivering sessions to our pupils.
