Friends of Story Wood (FOSW) is our beloved parent group. Run by parents, FOSW is actively involved in our school culture. They organise events to raise money, entertain and give children an opportunity to develop real life skills by involving children in product making, setting up stalls and selling as part the Christmas Markets, the Summer Fayres and Easter Challenges; they also organise parent drop in sessions to which all parents are welcome for a hot drink and biscuits. All the money 
raised by FOSW goes into thoughtful projects for our children. In the past, FOSW have provided all new reception parents with book bags or P.E bags as introductory welcome gifts. They have also funded wet playtime games for all classes and used funds to organise fun days with bouncy castles to contribute positively towards pupils well-being.
