We have used the VR again to investigate the habitat of the snail from our story. 
Sharing into equal groups
Science- today we have been looking at parts of the mouth and the 5 tastes by eating different foods. 
Computing- selecting and organising is a key concept for computing. In reception we have found items in the woods and sorted them into different categories.
Using the VR headsets to explore rock pools for our story, Snail and the Whale. 
Taking care of our environment
Reception have been planning their story using pictures. They will be writing their story using the plan to help them. 
This week we are learning the story of Handa’s Surprise where some cheeky animals take the fruit from her basket. Today we have been sequencing the main events.

Since returning from the holidays we have been working on counting on and back using counters and cubes. 
Innovating a story.
This week we are rewriting the story of the Hungry Caterpillar. We have planned our story using picture prompts.
